Some parts impressed, others didn't

Comfortable bed and friendly staff. The indoor pool was at the perfect temperature, and I appreciated the light by the bed for late-night reading.

The air conditioning was ineffective. Breakfast was decent but lacked variety in healthy options.

Breakfast better that most .

I was happy with all aspects.

Can recommend for a flash visit

Comfortable room, convenient location, with a helpful staff member at the front desk when we asked about local attractions nearby the airport. The breakfast provided a decent start to our day.

High price compared to other days inn I have stayed at.

The staff were very friendly and we're polite. Room was about what I expected, probably a little nicer but they were re-doing all the rooms. So everything was still kinda new.

It is a strech.. but the noise from my neighbor who decided 4AM was a good time to turn on the TV full volume. That isn't even their fault... So, don't hold it against them.

Updated rooms. Very comfortable bed. Great variety of breakfast foods

No elevator. First night door wouldn't open easily. Front desk staff very helpful changed my room to lower floor. Towels could use some fabric softener.

The room was very clean & the bed comfortable. The location was handy to the caverns for us. Both clerks, young ladies at check-in & check-out were very pleasant, efficient & friendly.

Breakfast could have served real eggs instead of egg product. Individual cartons of milk or milk in a stainless container would have been more sanitary. I saw guests carrying the gallon jug of milk to their table to refill their kids glasses.

I enjoyed the clean room and friendly staff. The breakfast offered decent options, though the pool could've been warmer. A relaxing experience that I'd recommend for a convenient stay in Carlsbad.

The staff were friendly and the room was very clean and nice. The beds were very comfortable and I especially liked the pillows. I also enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi.

My nieces said that there was a group of people that were up late, loud and noisy. It kept them awake for a while. They were on the pull out sofa bed. My husband and I heard nothing.

The breakfest was excellent, the room was clean and neat with ample space. The room was quite and window covering provided excellent coverage during the day. HVAC unit worked very well.

The room design with an door to the outside walkway this could be a safety concern for forced entry. No elevator only stairs.

The common areas were beautifully decorated, and the staff was very attentive to my needs as a senior lady. The convenient layout made it easy to get around without too much effort.

More accessible seating in common areas, please.

Price (oilfield demand?)

I recently stayed for 2 nights and was impressed by the clean room and the good breakfast options. However, the pool area was smaller than it looked in the photos.
